State Senator Bill Brady, Republican candidate for Governor, will visit 19 counties over two days on an “All Fired Up in Southern Illinois” tour to launch the final month of campaigning throughout Illinois before the February 2 Republican primary election.

”From Carmi to Cairo, from Metropolis and Mound City to Marion, we’re taking our campaign directly to the people of Southern Illinois,” said Brady, the only Downstate candidate for Governor in the primary.

”The tour will give us another opportunity to communicate directly with Southern Illinois Republican voters about our campaign to provide a clean break from the politics and anti-business policies of the past and to bring new leadership and a statewide balance to Springfield.”

Brady will be joined by his wife Nancy and son Duncan on the December 29-30 tour which will include stops in 24 communities.  Local supporters and Republican legislators who have endorsed Brady’s bid for Governor will join the tour at various stops.

Wished I could’ve been at the coffee in Mt. Vernon, but I will be there to see Sen. Brady at the stop in Benton (my wife’s hometown!) Can’t wait!

i attended the gathering in anna illinois for Mr. Brady. i have listened to speeches of illinois governors from Mr. Walker in the 70s, Mr. Thompson, Mr. Edgar, Mr. G. Ryan, & Mr. Blago. as i listened to Mr. Brady i was impressed. not that he was the best speaker i have heard, but i saw truly what i believe in my heart was, sincerity, honesty, and a deep wanting to do right for illinois. i watched his eyes , his expressions, his delivery. i have watched the other candidate but have yet to see this. i believe the current governor “IS” better than his predicessor. although i new little of Mr.Brady until today. i truly believe he is the right choice for illinois.
